A Better Day
Thursday was a much better day. Cayden was very calm and I was able to hold him for 3 hours and my mom had her first chance to hold Cayd. I surprised myself by not even thinking about Friday and just focused on Cayden. My dad arrived Thursday night and came straight to the hospital to meet his grandson. Now it's Friday morning and the grandparents and I are at the hospital, marveling at this little baby who is so loved by so many.

The reason so many of us do not post or send emails (at all or very often) is we can not find the words to express our feelings. And we want to be sure the words we do use give comfort and support.
Having said that I must communicate again how much love, prayers, comfort and support we are sending your way. The love you both have given Cayden has been extraordinary. While we have a hard time understanding, you both and Cayden have in someway been blessed to be together even for these way too too short a time.
Please know that your family and friends are with you all in prayers, spirit and love.

It's wonderful to hear that grandma and grandpa got to meet little Cayden and that you all had a better day yesterday! We are thinking of all of you on this very difficult day and are saying prayers and sending love to Cayden. We love you so much.

Cayden Has lived a short life, but in this time he has touched more then many do in a lifetime. No explanation could describe the strength he has given to many who have been praying with you throughout this time. We have provided, along with you the love and prayer, while he has given us all the strength. A piece of him will be with us forever and will remind us of what is truly important.
I will leave you with this quote from Hellen Keller that I believe to be the true meaning of what you have dealt with these past weeks.
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing"
You three have truly shown us all the meaning of Love!
I just want to add that while we can't be there with you today in person, we are 100% there in heart.

I am happy to hear that Frank arrived last night and that you are all together
As I have said before, I have shared with Grandma in Montevideo the updated reports as you post them.
I will continue to keep her "informed" and share your news with her.
She asks how you are all doing and says she prays for you all.
I wish she could see the pictures of Cayden, and his mommy and daddy...maybe we can show these to her someday.
