My uterus has been a bit irritable this evening and my nurse checked with the perinatologist on call, who prescribed some oral terbutaline. It's a low dose, so hopefully I'll avoid the heart palpitations it is known to cause. And I just moved my monitor away from Buggy, and things seem to have calmed down. I think he was exploring the region a little too heartily and the monitor was picking it up as uterine movement.
Thank you for your calls, emails, texts, comments, support. It's so helpful and I'm deeply appreciative.
I leave you with a parting shot of my lovely legwear. Come on, you know you're jealous!

Oy, my mom had to wear those leggings for circulation when she was in the hospital ages ago. She kept taking them off (she has a general distrust of all medical people, so she figured she knew better and didn't need them.) At least yours are striped;)
They are some sexy rested legs! Hope to find you on g-chat again soon. You really gotta get on Australian time, girl!

I'm telling you, that schedule will really help! Just making it will give you a sense of accomplishment. I have a super exciting task you can add - reading a paper by Dr. Hall on Pena Shokeir!!! It's rather long, and just appeared in my inbox tonight. I'm still absorbing what she's told me about Leah (she's not sure what she had, maybe a 10-15% chance of reoccurrance). And I haven't read the paper because it is sort of long and it is almost bed time here =)
