Today I had a fantastic visit with Aliza. Thanks to Aliza, I'm sleeping in comfort with a new mattress pad! And smelling particularly good thanks to her care package. Tonight I had a surprise furry visitor, since she'll be having a sleepover this weekend with M&M. It was so great to see her and get some cuddles.
In other news, I was granted patio wheelchair privileges today! Sitting up is a huge treat, so you can bet I'll be spending lots of time on the patio, since it means I can be vertical.
I can't believe Monday will be a month since I settled into Room 123. Time is going surprisingly fast, and I'm grateful for all my cheerleaders (that means you!), the incredible nurses and doctors, and the fact that Buggy seems quite content to stay safe and cozy inside his mama.

So happy for you to hear all the good news. You look fantastic! Here's to the next uneventful month at CPMC.

you look great, paige. glad you are getting so much support and sleeping in comfort! xoxo
One month less to go - that's great! Glad you got another Scout visit and you get to spend time sitting up and outside. All good stuff!
Wheelchair privileges definitely are nice aren't they? Glad things are going well! My Doc kept reminding me of the every 1 day more in womb equals 2 less days in NICU, and I agree (even though I've not been a NICU parent) that it makes it easy to be bed rest compliant.
Paige, I was in charge in NICU the night Cayden was born. I was so inpressed W/ your and your hubby's grace under very trying circumstances. We were all so sad! E. turned me on to your blog, which I've been following, and have shared your metaphors re grief w/ a close friend who lost her young husband unexpectedly.
All of us in NICU are keeping our fingers crossed 4 Buggy! Btw, my friend's husband often comes to her as a ladybug!!!!! So I loved that Cayden did, as well!!!! When she was visiting last week, we spotted a ladybug inside my house, crawling above her on the wall, and heard the doorbell ring at the same moment... only there was no one there when I opened it!!!! we both knew it was Brad!!!
I just wanted to let you know that I'm hoping for the best, and that you go to term...but, if not, we are here 4 you in the NICU!!!!! With highest hopes, Marcy Johnson
it was so good to see you paige and buggy too. so gald you are a little more comfy and smelling good. and glad you are able to wheel out to the patio more often. next time we'll have to get a picture of us together.
sending you so much love
